Kelly A. Jeanetta is founder of Kelly A. Jeanetta Law Firm, LLC. She is an employee rights advocate, representing individuals affected by employment discrimination and retaliation. Ms. Jeanetta is a Labor and Employment Law Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Her work involves state and federal court trial practice, arbitrations, mediations, and appellate practice. She is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota, in the United States District Court, and in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Jeanetta also appears on behalf of her clients in administrative forums such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), the Minnesota Department of Human Rights (“MDHR”), the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights (“MDCR”), the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”), and other state and local agencies. Over the years, Ms. Jeanetta has secured millions of dollars in compensation for clients who were wrongfully terminated or were denied employment opportunities because of their protected status or protected activity.
Ms. Jeanetta provides non-litigation counseling, strategic advice, and negotiating in matters of employment contracts, separation agreements, and non-compete and other restrictive covenants. She also litigates cases involving employment contracts and restrictive covenants, as well as common law claims of defamation and tortious interference with business prospects.

She has a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, is a trained mediator, and is a part-time Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law.
